Baked Apricot Sticky Chicken Wings

A sweet and sticky apricot glaze covers these baked chicken wings, which can be used as an appetizer or main dish for any event. Putting apricot preserves, soy sauce, and honey together makes a tasty coating that caramelizes beautifully in the oven.

Ingredients:

  • 1 kg chicken wings
  • 1 cup apricot preserves
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon ginger, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Sesame seeds and chopped green onions for garnish

Instructions:

Get the oven ready by heating it up to 400F 200C

Put apricot preserves, soy sauce, honey, garlic, and ginger in a small saucepan

Over medium-low heat, mix everything together well and let it thicken a bit, about 5 minutes

Put the chicken wings on a baking sheet that has been lined with parchment paper

Season them with salt and pepper

Spread the apricot glaze out on the chicken wings so that they are covered all over

The chicken should be cooked all the way through after 25 to 30 minutes in a hot oven

The glaze should also be sticky and caramelized at this point

Sprinkle chopped green onions and sesame seeds on top after taking it out of the oven
