Ingredients:
- 1 bone-in ham, approximately 6-8 lbs
- 1 cup red wine
- 1 cup pineapple juice
- 1/2 cup honey
- 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- Salt and black pepper to taste
Instructions:
Preheat the smoker to 225F 107C
Place the ham on the smoker grates, fat side up
In a saucepan, combine red wine, pineapple juice, honey, Dijon mustard, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper
Heat the mixture over medium heat, stirring until well combined and heated through
Brush the ham with the glaze, ensuring an even coating
Smoke the ham for approximately 4-6 hours or until the internal temperature reaches 140F 60C
Every hour, baste the ham with the glaze for a flavorful and glossy finish
Once done, remove the ham from the smoker and let it rest for 15 minutes before slicing
Serve the grilled ham slices with any remaining glaze on the side
